Herd on road to face Knicks

The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, handed the Long Island Nets their first loss of the season Tuesday. The Knicks now look to a back-to-back with the Wisconsin Herd.

John Jenkins is the league’s second-leading scorer (29.0). He’s played the most games of the league’s top-30 scorers as of 11/21. Jordan McCrae, Capital City Go-Go, is first in the league (36.7) but has only appeared in three games as of 11/21.

Kadeem Allen is 22nd in the league in assists per game (5.4) as of 11/21. Westchester is third in the league in three-point field goal percentage (38.4%) as of 11/21.

Santa Cruz (7-0) and Sioux Falls (7-1) have the most wins in the league. Oklahoma City and Westchester each have six victories. Raptors 905 and Rio Grande Valley have five apiece as of 11/21.

Westchester (40.3) and Wisconsin (40.1) are 12th and t-13th in the league, respectively in field goals made as of 11/21.

Travis Trice II played with Westchester from 2015-17. The Knicks are undefeated in Friday games having gone 2-0 in those matchups. Isaiah Hicks ranks 19th in the league in points in the paint (12.7) as of 11/21.

 

INJURY REPORT

Buay Tuach (right foot fracture) is out.

The Wisconsin native played three seasons at Marquette, where he received NCAA All-East Region Team member honors and All-BIG EAST Second Team selection as a junior in 2013. Blue posted career averages of 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game as a Golden Eagle.

Bolomboy (6-9, 235 pounds) appeared in 30 games (29 starts) last season with the Herd and averaged 16.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists, while shooting 55.8 percent from the field. Bolomboy currently plays for CSKA Moscow (Russia).
