2015 Home Opener at Citi Field
Today April 13, started the official 2015 Home Opener Baseball.
Mets host Philadelphia for a 1:10 pm first pitch. Jacob deGrom is on the mound and looks to ignite a capacity crowd at Citi Field.
Bartolo Colon opening day start, pitched 7 innings with 5 strikeouts but his best play came at the plate when he drove in a run with a single in the 4th. Colon pitched seven solid innings and earned his first RBI since 2005 and Jeurys Familia recorded the save in a 4-3 win, first home run.
