UEFA World Cup Qualifiers: BOSNA and Hercegovina got the Spot

The UEFA World Cup Qualifiers have reached its final stage, and one of the World Cup Qualifying finals is Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Italy at the Stadion Bilino Polje in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Both teams reached this stage after winning their respective World Cup qualifier semifinals of Path A. Italy faced Northern Ireland last Thursday in Italy, while Bosnia and Herzegovina faced Wales in Wales.

Italy defeated Northern Ireland 2-0 at home with goals from Sandro Tonali and Moise Kean. Italy is only one win away from qualifying for the World Cup; their last appearance in a World Cup was in 2014.

Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to beat Wales on penalties to reach this World Cup qualifying final against Italy after going 1-0 down.

Wales took the lead in the 51st minute with a goal from Daniel James, but in the 86th minute, Edin Dzeko scored a header that equalized the game, and the goal was crucial for the game to go to extra time.

In extra time, the match stayed a tie, and the game needed a penalty shootout to decide the winner. Bosnia missed one penalty, but Wales missed two. Kerim Alajbegovic scored the penalty winner to send Bosnia to the next stage of the World Cup qualifier.
