D.C. United Win 3-2 Against Loudoun United FC home at Audi Field

Audi Field, Washington, D.C. (August 05, 2026) — D.C. United scored three first-half goals to top Loudoun United FC, 3-2, in the first DMV Derby at Audi Field. Homegrown Midfielders Oscar Avilez and Kamil Castillo made their professional debuts with the Black-and-Red. Loudoun United FC Forward Thorleifur Ulfarsson opened scoring in the 10th minute with a left-footed shot into the back post.

Shortly after, Midfielder Hosei Kijima leveled the score, finding Avilez in close range who redirected the ball off his chest into the net for his first professional goal in the 14th minute. In the 23rd minute off a long throw-in, Ordaz sent a header across to Defender Nikola Markovic who headed it in for his first professional goal in the 23rd minute. Just a few minutes later in the 26th minute, Ordaz found a loose ball in the box after a touch by Kijima and found the back of the net to extend the Black-and-Red’s lead before halftime, earning his first D.C. United goal and sealing the 3-1 win.
