Arsenal offer to sign Real Madrid winger
Arsenal want to sign Lucas Vazquez from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Lucas Vazquez is one of Arsenal’s top transfer targets this summer and the Gunners have already tabled a lucrative contract offer for the Real Madrid winger, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet OK Diario, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Unai Emery has made signing Vazquez one of his top priorities for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old is currently on international duty with Spain at the World Cup in Russia and the new man in charge at Arsenal is hoping to convince him to seal a move to The Emirates.
According to the same report, Emery is convinced that Vazquez could be a real “difference-maker” in the Premier League and he is desperate to bring him to Arsenal this summer.
The article also claims that Arsenal have already put a £7m a year contract offer on the table to try and bring Vazquez to England.
However, it is also started that Real Madrid are adamant that the winger is not for sale this summer, despite him being largely a squad player at the Bernabeu.
Indeed, the Spanish club are said to be likely to demand a huge transfer fee if they are to part company with the 26-year-old this summer.
