Broadway star Ramos will sing the national anthem in support of NYCFC

Anthony Ramos 24- years grew up in Bushwick, Brooklyn, a Puerto Rican descent.

Super talented singer, started his career since 2011 played Sonny in Grace production, after that during 2015 hit very big role of Philip Hamilton and John Laurens in the Broadway musical.

John Laurens (October 28, 1754 – August 27, 1782) best known for his criticism of slavery and efforts to help recruit slaves to fight for their freedom as U.S. soldiers.  He ws soldier joined the Continental Army and following the Battle of Brandywine, was made officially an aide-de-camp to General Washington with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He served with the Baron von Steuben, doing reconnaissance at the outset of theBattle of Monmouth.
He became close friends with his fellow aides-de-camp, Alexander Hamilton and the General Marquis de Lafayette.  Laurens gained approval from theContinental Congress in 1779 to recruit a brigade of 3,000 slaves by promising them freedom in return for fighting. He was killed in the Battle of the Combahee River in August 1782.

In Popular culture, his role began very attractive, Laurens is depicted in the musical Hamilton, and Anthony landed a big role in the hottest show on Broadway and off-Broadway production.
