Brooklyn Nets traded Deron Williams

It was just time the Nets after 4-years season has agreed to a contract buyout of starting point guard Deron Williams who them immediately went on to sign with the Dallas Mavericks. For the Nets could attempt to trade for Lawson in the coming days if the Denver Nuggets push a deal.

The good news is Jarrett Jack will be a starter for Brooklyn, but team is hard to tell if they have that confidence in the point guard.  Free agency entering the third week, lots of buyers are out on the market, and according to some Nuggets’ veterans Lawson is not a leader for the nuggets or any team.

Brooklyn will save lot of money for William’s contract over $43 millions spread with payments of $27.5 million, over the next five seasons.  He was clearly waived once, but luckily they have been sign a two-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks worth approximately $10 million, sources said.

Deron also was a free agent in 2012, the Nets re-signed him to a five year, $98.7 million contract one of the expensive players. He was doing great, but when he got injured and inconsistent play during his tenure with the team. Williams averaged 16.6 points, 7.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game with a true shooting percentage of 54.0 for the Nets.

Sources tell head coach Hollins on the press conference said the best of Deron Williams “Deron will be miss as a player, but it’s going to be a good move for him, going back home with his family, and fresh start for him.”
