Carmelo Anthony not happy with Drafting -sources
Phil Jackson and Carmelo blackmailing him that would be his last playoff season. Really! Do we care about his decision?!
Last night at the Draft, Carmelo made big face down to Phil Jackson, drafting and make adjusted for Kristaps Porzingis 19 years old Latvian player, and trading Tim Hardaway Jr. for the rights to Jerian Grant.
Melo, reportedly, has not been happy about decision, like he is the man and he is the Phil Jackson’s place. According to many sources and Melo’s reaction to the Knicks’ draft, after he re-signed, and he didn’t make any promises to the team and to Phil Jackson. During conference, media has thoughts if Phil promised him a miracle, he must be truly waiting the truth to see with his eyes, that nothing put in his team, only been selfish and greedy.
According to Media talk by Stephen A. Smith of ESPN on Mad Dog Radio Sport on Melo’s reaction to the Knicks’ draft: “I talking to my sources last night. All they said was, he’s furious. He’s livid. He feels completely hoodwinked and betrayed by Phil Jackson. He feels like he was lied to, like he was sold a bill of goods. He knew that he couldn’t get as money anywhere else, and he’s willing to concede that he wanted his money. But he didn’t know it was going to be like this. He didn’t know it was going to be this bad. And he can’t believe that his second season under the Phil Jackson regime, he has to look forward to it being worse than even last year was.”
By the way Jackson planning a team in future to build up for franchise, but all respect for Melo, if he is frustrated, he needs to ask for trade, but he needs to enjoy his money and his contract HE Signed For, but to make all team miserable as he is, and that won’t be happening as long Phil present with Knicks.
Anyway Melo 31-years old overpaid player, didn’t bring much on table, after season ending knee surgery, hopefully to be ready for new season, but still Phil Jackson giving a best thoughts of Melo’s was asked if he thought about Anthony when picking Porzingis and said: “Carmelo’s always on my mind. He’s our favorite son.”
