Chele Farley running for US Senate NYC
|Chele Farley is running for the United States Senate to provide every New York family with the opportunity to succeed.
Chele is focused on recapturing the $48 billion dollars more that New Yorkers pay in federal taxes each year than the state receives. By addressing the unfair treatment of New York taxpayers, Chele intends to invest in the state’s crumbling roads and bridges and to fix the nation’s largest mass transportation system. Chele recognizes that these infrastructure improvements will create jobs, promote the state’s long-term economic health and ease the crushing burden placed on property taxpayers.
Chele Chiavacci Farley inspired by her parents to work hard, succeed and help others. Her interest led her to major in Industrial Engineering at Stanford University and influenced her commitment to expand educational opportunities in these challenging subjects for all children.
A Republican Chele Chiavacci Farley declared her candidacy for Gillibrand’s seat on Feb. 1 this year, after months of deliberation.
Last year, Farley was named finance chair for New York City by the state Republican Party, and according to her website, her experience managing finances goes back decades. She worked at UBS Capital and Goldman Sachs after graduating from Stanford University with two engineering degrees, and is now a partner and managing director of Mistral Capital International. In her campaign launch video, Farley highlights her private sector experience, and emphasizes New York’s financial problems.
According to her social media she does seem to be using President Donald Trump’s playbook for highlighting her, however Farley has the connections and experience to raise cash competitively by tweeting she raised $100,000 on her first day of fundraising.
.@SenGillibrand doesn't work for New Yorkers. Now she's calling #ICE her #1 political target in 2019, putting Empire State families at risk. How about the "first thing" we do this fall is #FireGillibrand? #Farley4NY #PutNYFirst https://t.co/DRQHP3PWzx
