CONMEBOL Copa América Group Standings and Fixture
|CONMEBOL Canada to joins Group A and Costa Rica will be part of Group D, on (Saturday, March 23) announced the 16 participants of the 48th edition of the CONMEBOL Copa América™ were defined.
With their victories in the CONCACAF playoffs, Canada and Costa Rica became the last two teams to qualify for the oldest national team tournament in the world. In addition to them, four other CONCACAF teams will be part of this edition: the United States, Mexico, Panama, and Jamaica.
Canada, making its debut in the CONMEBOL Copa América™, joins Group A and will debut on June 20 against Argentina in the tournament’s opening match, to be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Peru and Chile are the other members of the group.
Meanwhile, Costa Rica joins Group D alongside Brazil, Paraguay, and Colombia. Their debut in the tournament will be against the Verdeamarelha on June 24 at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
The CONMEBOL Copa América United States 2024™ will feature 32 matches played in 14 stadiums.
