Daniel Royer is back!

Daniel Royer will be on the 18-man gameday roster against D.C. United, Jesse Marsch said on Monday.

“We can consider him to start,” Marsch said. “He’s doing well. He’ll be in the 18.”

Royer was a “full go” in training and will make his first gameday appearance since injuring his leg at the beginning of August.

The midfielder had a hyperextension of the right knee, which resulted in bone bruising, suffered against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium.

The Alcatel MLS Player of the Month for July has 10 goals and two assists in 22 MLS games this season, including six in July. Royer also has one goal in Open Cup play, scoring the game-winning goal against New York City FC in the fourth round of play.
