General thoughts on the game…
It was frustrating at the end. I think at that point in the game had the options and the energy and the opportunities to take the three points. But I have to recognize that DC kept believing and a couple of sequences that they had on those set plays and that was all. But I thought we can’t complain, we had our options to score and what we discussed during the week about their strengths and everything didn’t happen in the game. But we’re working with our heads up and knowing that it’s good experience with this game, but at the end you if you want points you have to score goals.

On the opportunities to win the game…
I thought we didn’t have resolution and that cost us the game. And we could’ve held it at 0-0, I don’t think we gave up options to them much, in that regard the team was in very good control of the game. Unfortunately, in that play that play there it was a bit awkward with the ball bouncing all over the place they found a goal, and we will take that.

On the goal…
From what I can tell it was a couple of ugly moments there and when it comes off the post and lands at someone’s feet and not yours that just part of the game.

When asked about DCU’s late goal…
The last minutes are when teams score. And so, you know we need to stay a bit more focused you know, defensively and offensively too. It’s just one of those games where it’s just unfortunate because we were on top of it and had a lot of chances.

On holding a high-scoring team to one goal…
We did our job for most of that game defensively. To contain them and contain their dangerous players. A little lapse, a little fortunate for them too because it bounced off a couple of people and off the post. But that’s the game sometimes.

What he saw happen when D.C. scored…
I think we got a touch on the ball. Flicked off the back of somebody’s head and you know. Unfortunately landed to their player’s foot. It went off the post, came back to him. Went off somebody else and he finally got a touch. So it wasn’t pretty. But sometimes you gotta just grind out goals. And they were just fortunate today to do that.

Any cause for concern…
No. I mean unfortunate because we didn’t score this time. Scoring goals, I don’t think, has really been a problem for us. We’re lucky to be going home this weekend and we’re definitely going to make up for not having scored today.
