Few Cosmos stars attended to Giants training

East Rutherford (August 20, 2015) – New York Cosmos, for the time this season attended at the New York Giants training camp on Wednesday evening at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in the MetLife Sports Complex. The big stars like Raúl, Leo Fernandes, Danny Szetela and Cosmos’ Head Scout (and former player) Dane Murphy. The soccer stars met with Giants players Eli Manning, Steve Weatherford and Mark Herzlich after their practice session.
“I’m from New Jersey and a huge Giants fan. Watching the guys train was great, especially seeing Eli throwing passes up close.” commented Cosmos midfielder, Danny Szetela.
When asked about whether soccer players would be any good at football Raúl replied: “Soccer players could potentially make good kickers, but I’m not sure we’d survive the tackling in other positions!”
