Florian Valot underwent successful surgery
The New York Red Bulls midfielder Florian Valot underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL on Wednesday afternoon with team doctors at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Valot suffered the injury in training on July 5 at the Red Bulls Training Facility in East Hanover, N.J.
The French midfielder contributed three goals and five assists in 14 MLS appearances to start the 2018 campaign, after being promoted from NYRB II and signing his first MLS contract in December.
Valot has been placed on season-ending injury reserve, sources told about his statement.
