Gal Gadot new face of Revlon
The actress of the Wonder Woman Gal Gadot can add one more exciting announcement a new face of Revlon.
Israeli actress and model stars in a new international campaign for the brand called Live Boldly—a departure from the love-centered campaigns of the last several years. For Gadot, makeup goes hand-in-hand with the feminist cultural shift. “Anything that makes you feel more confident more beautiful and better about yourself has to do with [feminism],” she told WWD. “There’s a big misinterpretation about the way that people view the term of feminism. I have friends — girlfriends — who have careers and they’re mothers and they do it all, and they are afraid to say that they’re a feminist.”
This is Gadot’s first major beauty contract, following a small campaign with Gucci Bloom fragrances before the release of Wonder Woman. “I’ve been familiar with [Revlon] since I can remember myself wearing makeup,” Gadot told WWD, mentioning to editors this morning that both her mother and Grandmother favored the brand. “They love women, they celebrate women and they’re very accessible.”
