Head coach Mike Miller earned 100th career victory

WHITE PLAINS, NY – February 8, 2019 – The Westchester Knicks (21-16), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, topped the visiting Canton Charge (12-22), 112-96, behind a career-high performance from Devon Baulkman Friday evening at Westchester County Center.

 

Baulkman’s 24-point superlative came on 50-percent shooting, which accompanied five rebounds and two assists.

 

Billy Garrett and Sekou Wiggs scored 21 and 20 respective points. Zak Irvin gave team-high efforts in rebounds (10) and assists (6). His six helpers tied his career-high.

Five Canton players scored double-figures led by Kobi Simmons’ 18 points. JaCorey Williams, Sir’Dominic Pointer and Levi Randolph each had seven rebounds. Pointer, Simmons and Scoochie Smith had five assists.

Westchester boasted a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter, its largest of the evening, despite 17 lead changes and seven ties prior. The Knicks controlled the final quarter from its start and until the final buzzer sounded.

With the win, head coach Mike Miller earned his 100th career victory.

The Knicks are back in action tomorrow, February 9 against the Long Island Nets. Tip-off inside the County Center is slated for 7 PM (ET).
