Iman Reveals Tribute To David Bowie at Tom Ford

For the first public Somalian beauty, kept in low profile since David Bowie passed away in January, avoiding the paparazzi glare and social media of heartbreak and recovery.

No wonder after long time the supermodel shows up with cheers at Tom Ford last night opening of NYFW. Her beautiful smile cheers everyone around when she step onto the red carpet in a velvet suit reminiscent of the designer’s iconic Fall 1995 collection for Gucci.

Iman is the cosmetics entrepreneur and Ford muse upgraded earthy makeup, looked amazing in an Yves blue viscose velvet double-breasted.

At Tom Ford’s show in New York Fashion Week, the model showed a gold “David” necklace was made for her by Hedi Slimane, telling to reporter, “I’m wearing this until my death.” 

In response to being called a “survivor”, Iman replied, “Not as much as you think. It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up”.

The 61-year-old model lives in New York with one daughter of Bowie’s teenage daughter Lexi, they both shared several photographs on Instagram of herself at the show – including one with Cindy Crawford.
