Injury report for RBNY

Gonzalo Veron will not play in Sunday night’s MLS opener due to a hamstring issue.

During the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals game on Thursday night, Gonzalo Veron was forced to be subbed out of the game in the 8th minute. Veron started the game as one of the team’s two forward, but had to be taken off early while holding his right leg and was attended to by team medical staff.

There was no immediate word on his injury. Derrick Etienne Jr. replaced Veron on the field.
His playing status will be updated later in the week.
