It would prove a memorable summer for the Club’s first Homegrown signing as he would go on to make a further five appearances for Gregg Berhalter’s side – including a memorable 1-0 victory against Mexico in the final.
He will now be hopeful of making further appearances for the USMNT next month as they gear up for a trio of World Cup Qualifiers against El Salvador on September 2, Canada on September 5, and finally Honduras on September 8.
The Club would like to congratulate James on his selection and wish him luck for next month.
