Jeff Kazee to sing at Red Bull Arena
|The New Red Bulls are proud to have New York City-based musician/recording artist Jeff Kazee at Red Bull Arena performing the Star-Spangled banner tonight, June 13th, before the Red Bulls kickoff against the Seattle Sounders.
“I’m proud to be singing our National Anthem for the Red Bulls—its roster comprised of athletes, both American and International—and the uniquely diverse crowd that typifies a Major League Soccer audience. Singing the Anthem in the Red Bull Arena is beyond exciting. Let’s go, Red Bulls!”
Probably best known for his role as the bandleader for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes—Jeff’s diverse keyboard, vocal and arranging skills have led him through an eclectic career: touring and recording with New Jersey Rock icons, Bon Jovi; Folk/Pop singer-songwriter Dar Williams; climbing The Wall with Roger Waters; cross-country tripping with SNL/Dylan bandleader G.E. Smith; greasing grooves with Blues Brothers Steve Cropper and Eddie Floyd—and sharing the stage with such artists as Gavin DeGraw, Joan Osborne, Snoop Dogg, Paul Shaffer & The CBS Orchestra, Richie Sambora, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Wilson and Elvis Costello, to name a few.
Kazee’s many national television appearances and constant presence on the New York City/New Jersey music scene have made him one of the premier bandleaders for many of the largest and most prestigious Galas and Corporate/Fundraising events—finding him writing, arranging & backing dozens of some of the most well-known entertainers in America.
Most recently, Jeff has produced and contributed original songs for The Asbury Jukes’ “Pills & Ammo”, “Men Without Women: Live From The Stone Pony” and Southside Johnny’s latest, the critically acclaimed album, “Soultime!”.
He’s a Contributing Writer for Keyboard Magazine & endorses Kurzweil keyboard products.
