Juventus Opening First Academy Training Center
Juventus Academy USA will be officially opening the first Juventus Academy Training Center in the country.
Juventus is one of the most renowned soccer clubs in the world and the most successful in Italy with a record amount of 35 domestic league titles (last 6 in consecutive fashion), 2 Champions League trophies, and many other accolades, will be facing Barcelona FC in a match at the Met Life Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
With the First team’s arrival and with the attendance of Juventus Legends, on July 23rd, a day after the match, Juventus Academy USA will be officially opening the first Juventus Academy Training Center in the country.
This indoor facility, located in Sparta, New Jersey, will provide youth soccer players with an opportunity to develop through a variety of programs, under Juventus Coaches, following the club’s methodologies and curriculums.
“We believe that in the USA, youth players and parents put too much emphasis on standings and winning or losing weekend league games. This ends up affecting the technical and tactical quality of the youngsters because the focus is on the result and not in the process. This new training center, will provide a methodically supplemental training environment for boys and girls of all ages and levels, focused solely on player improvement and development” says Juventus Academy Head Coach and USA Area Manager, Carlo Mastellone.
With the presence of Mr. Mastellone and other Juventus officials, Juventus Academy USA will be hosting trials from July 23rd through July 30th for the annual training programs.
Registration and participation for these trials is limited in order to personalize the sessions for each participant with small player-to-coach ratios. Information for the attending parents will be provided during the trial week, and registrants will also enter for a chance to win an autographed Juventus jersey and soccer ball.
The players that later go on to become full members of the programs will receive benefits such as: Flexibility in their training schedule, one-on-one assessment session with a coach to evaluate against Juventus standards, personalized health and nutritional report, an objective training curriculum designed by Juventus, and other unique features.
