Lakers released Xavier Henry
Xavier Henry is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. Henry played in nine games for the Lakers this season, averaging 2.2 points a game. After his injury out for the year with a ruptured Achilles’ tendon. Lakers released him, but team is still obligated to pay him his full $1.1 million contract.
Sunday, the Lakers claimed former Houston Rockets forward and center Tarik Black, he was released on Friday, when Josh Smith got his spot.
