Macedonia hosting friendly with Norway

The Macedonians hosting Norway for their Friendly clash at the Telekom Arena (Aleksandar the Grair Arena) in Skopje on Saturday evening hoping to build on their current streak and forget about the rather underwhelming World Cup Qualifiers campaign in Group G as soon as possible.

Admittedly, they’ve been in great shape recently and we do feel they’ll be very motivated on the day.

Red Lynxes have a four-match unbeaten streak behind them, as they’ve bagged a 0-1 win in Israel in September, built on the success with draws against Italy and Albania, and finished the campaign with a thrashing 4-0 win over Liechtenstein in early October. Building on the success against Norwegian rivals would see them further build on the consistency but will surely be no easy task.

Norway have finished huge 17 points behind table-toppers Germany in Group C and six behind 2nd placed Northern Ireland, losing all chances of making the cut long ago. However, they’ve picked up their form recently and also come into the match on the back of a two-match winning streak, where they beat both San Marino and Northern Ireland in early October.

They’ll now be very motivated to build on the success but have been in a very poor spell of form away from home, with the win in San Marino only ending a six-match losing streak, and this will be worrying ahead of the trip to Skopje. Lars Lagerback’s men have never suffered a loss to Macedonia, with two home wins and a goalless draw in their only clash at this ground on the record.

Full Time Winner Odds & Prediction

We will now back the Macedonians to their historic first win over Norway and go for the home win at a very good-looking 17/10.

Goals Market Prediction, in winning they should come in an exciting occasion, though, and going for Over 2.5 goals FT has also caught our eye at 27/20!
