Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel expecting their first child
Supermodel and owner of cosmetics line Kora Organics, 34-year-old Miranda Kerr is wealthy in her own with an estimated net worth of $45 million, not only that but Kerr was the first Australian Victoria’s Secret model and also represented the Australian department store chain David Jones.
And just six months after saying “I do,” Miranda Kerr and her husband, Evan Spiegel, are expecting their first child. The model announced the news via a spokesperson on Wednesday. “Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family,” the spokesperson confirmed to E! News. This will be Spiegel’s first and Kerr’s second child; she has a son, six-year-old Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
Kerr and Snapchat CEO Spiegel announced their engagement in July 2016 with an adorable Bitmoji version of themselves with a #ringselfie. And on May 27 the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in their Los Angeles home. With only 40 friends and family members in attendance, the couple went big on the details, including farmhouse tables, benches, and blush garden roses under an open-air tent in the backyard. Kerr, who wore a showstopping custom Dior gown, even prepared the meal herself—slow-roasted chicken scented with turmeric and lemon—and had the caterer re-create it for guests. The bride topped the night off by singing Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” to her new husband.
In recent months Kerr has spoken candidly about their very traditional marriage. In an interview with Net-a-Porter magazine, Kerr explained, “My grandma taught me that men are visual and you need to make a little effort.” She continued, “So when [Evan] comes home, I make sure to have a nice dress on and the candles lit. We make time to have a nice dinner together.” The model and Snapchat founder also reportedly chose to abstain from sex before being wed.
