Nets signed guard Dahntay Jones to a non-guaranteed contract
The Nets have signed shooting guard Dahntay Jones to a non-guaranteed contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
Jones 34-years-old from Trenton New Jersey, played 33 games for the Los Angeles Clippers last season and will have a chance to get on the Nets roster, one that features 12 guaranteed contracts and six partial guarantees. Jones, he played college basketball for Rutgers and Duke. The 20 pick in the 2003 draft out of Duke, Jones can give the Nets some grit and veteran leadership off the bench if he makes the final roster.
As of veteran he made best impact with great season for the Indiana Pacers in 2010, averaging 10 points while starting in 26 of Indiana’s games.
