“New York City FC” increase capacity 19,000 fans
|The Club unveiled since 2016 season ticket pricing and added increased seating options to meet the growing demand. Beginning in the 2016 Season, the increased capacity at Yankee Stadium, as configured for New York City FC matches, will be approximately 30,000 up from current capacity of 27,528.
Tom Glick, President of New York City FC, said:
“Our Founding Members are the foundation of our Club. We are humbled that more than 19,000 fans from the greater-NYC area choose to spend their valued time and money on season tickets and help build this Club. We have been over capacity for each of our last 6 home games and have worked with the Yankees to increase capacity for next season to ensure that we continue to meet the growing demand for tickets.”
