New York City FC Trades Patrick Mullins to D.C. United

New York City FC has traded forward Patrick Mullins to D.C. United in exchange for General Allocation

Money, Targeted Allocation Money, and an International Roster Spot for the 2016 and 2017 season.
Mullins was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 MLS Expansion Draft and made 31
appearances for the Club, scoring 6 goals and registering 5 assists during his time in New York.
The forward returns to the D.M.V. Area after a standout collegiate career at the University of
Maryland that saw him take home the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy in back-to-back seasons.

Claudio Reyna said: “On behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to sincerely thank Patrick Mullins for his contribution to the building of New York City FC. Patrick gave his all on the field and in the community, and scored a goal in our historic first ever match at Yankee Stadium that will always be remembered. We wish him the best of luck in the next step of his career.”
