Nick Gregory Chief meteorologist Fox 5 NY
Nick Gregory is a Chief meteorologist for Fox 5 NY WNYW for the news, has been working with news for three decades.
A native of New Rochelle, New Yorker with Greek descent, Gregory holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. His passion for aviation become since early age and licensed pilot for 34 years including flight instructor for over 20 years, sources by (Wikipedia).
An extensive knowledge makes him the FOX 5 News aviation expert on aviation stories. On December 26, 2016, Nick Gregory celebrated his 30th anniversary on Fox 5 News.
Nick has also been heard on several radio stations and as of Chief Pilot for Performance Flight which utilizes Private Pilot or Commercial Certificate and most recently he has been hired as a pilot by Hopscotch Air which provides air taxi services throughout northeast.
Nick become public figure has been attending in variety of events, such New York Fashion Week and others non-profit organizations. He attends to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church in New Rochelle, where has been a cheerleader for his dance adult folk group, that they performed during the commemorates Greece Independence Day Parade 2018 held on April 22, just two day’s earlier of Nick’s birthday.
Gregory holds several awards over the course of his career the “American Meteorologist Society’s “Board of Broadcast Meteorology” and was Chairman of the Board in 1992. He has received the AMS Seal of Approval for Excellence in Television Weathercasting and both the New York Post and the New York Daily News.”
