NY Knicks draft signed Louis Labeyrie

During draft pick season, Knicks made huge interests in French player Louis Labeyrie, the gangling 23 year-old big-man who went 57th in last year’s draft ($1.5 million).

He plays bench minutes, shoots threes frequently and not horribly, and grabs a couple rebounds per evening. He also appears to still be 6’10 and 200 pounds, which is like if Kevin Durant cut off one his legs.

Rudy Gobert said to sources. “I haven’t talked to him about it yet. He’s more of a power forward than center, though. He’s not a center. “He’s athletic and can drive and can shoot. I think he’d like to be in New York. I was happy for him.”
