The supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel announced on social media that she signed up to race the 2017 New York City Marathon. Kloss, who has said in the past that she used to hate running, got into the sport when she trained with friends for the Paris Half Marathon back in 2015. The 24-year old founder of Kode with Klossy, an organization created to empower girls to code and become leaders in tech, will run in support of a local charity, though it is unclear which one at this time. This will be Kloss’s first marathon.
Prince Royce a 28-year old singer and songwriter will be joining the long list of celebrities who have run the NYC Marathon after November. Royce, who has been nominated for over 10 Billboard Music Awards and won 19 at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in the past, took to Twitter to announce his entry, using #PrinceRoyceRunsNYC to mark his grand debut. The New York native, who grew up in the Bronx, will run to raise funds for the National Kidney Foundation and Change for Kids, a NYC-based organization that provides school supplies to public elementary schools. This will be Royce’s first marathon.
