NY Red Bulls Aurélien Collin
|Aurélien Collin is a French footballer, currently playes for New York Red Bulls. Best trade for the club, 15 April 2011, Collin signed a contract with Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer.
In his first season in Kansas City, Collin established himself as a starter playing alongsideMatt Besler. He helped Kansas City in capturing the2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. On 7 December 2013, Collin scored the game tying goal in the 2013 Major League Soccer Cup Final, rifling home a header from a Graham Zusi corner kick against Real Salt Lake.
Collin was awarded the 2013 MLS Cup MVP as Sporting Kansas City won the match on penalties to claim the title. Collin appeared in 5 matches and scored three goals.
On 8 December 2014, Collin was traded from Sporting Kansas City to new expansion side Orlando City SC for allocation money and defender Jalil Anibaba. In his first season with the club, he appeared in 28 league matches scoring two goals.
On 29 April 2016 Collin was traded from Orlando to New York Red Bulls. On 6 May 2016 he made his debut for the club in a 1-1 draw against his former club Orlando City SC. He helped his new side to consecutive shut out victories, including a 7-0 Hudson River derby victory against New York City FC on May 21, 2016 at Yankee Stadium.
His career dream other than sport,
while playing for Sporting Kansas City, Collin started studying for an online degree in fashion design. But in my opinion Collin is full package of Print Model.
The 30-years-old veteran defender faced big immigration problems Collin for the 2016 season, moving him into an international slot despite the French-born center back having earned his US green card back in 2012 when he was with Sporting KC. His wife Leo is a Venezuelan citizen, Orlando have willingly reclassified Collin as an international again, restoring him to P-1 visa status – and allowing his wife to join him in Central Florida on the P-4 visa granted to the family members of P-1 holders.
“Thanks to the club, thanks to Orlando City, they helped a lot,” Collin told the Sentinel. “They made that dream come true. It was very hard. When your wife is not with you it’s very complicated, but right now she’s with me so I’m the happiest man in the world.”
Glad that worked out, Collin proof is a good player but he proven mre that he is humbled player who believes in God and treat his fans over the top, yes! giving away his game-worn jersey to a fan after every home game, that makes huge impression. Keep it up with great work!!
