NYCFC, David Villa is ready to kick off
Three names have been taken off New York City FC’s Injury Report for Saturday’s game versus Houston Dynamo.
Mikey Lopez, Ronald Matarrita and Ethan Whiteare all in the frame to return following their respective lay-offs and may feature at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium.

Matarrita comes back into the reckoning following two and a half months out of action with a fractured foot and could make his first appearance since June.
The Costa Rican international has missed 11 games with the injury but returns just in time to boost his side’s MLS Playoffs charge after last appearing in the win over Minnesota in June.
Elsewhere, Lopez and White are both available for selection once more for the first time sinceAugust’s 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena.
Alex Ring is rated as “questionable” for the match in East Hartford, while David Villa is out of the woods and ready to go after returning from the bench at Colorado last weekend.
Maxime Chanot and Yangel Herrera returned to the training field this week and are closing in on returns to full training but this game comes too soon for both the Luxembourgian and Venezuelan internationals.
Miguel Camargo is out for the season, while James Sands is eligible for the final time before the FIFA U17 World Cup which he was called up for yesterday.
For Houston, MLSSoccer.com’s Injury Reporthas George Malki out, while Charlie Ward and Phillipe Senderos are listed as “questionable”.
NYCFC can move six points clear of Chicago Fire in the standings with a win and close the gap to leaders Toronto to eight points.
