Serena Williams is officially pregnant!

Serena Williams revealed on social media on Wednesday that she is pregnant. Apparently on her Snapchat showed image taken into a mirror, was captioned “20 weeks”, as especially she posted sideways in a yellow bathing suit with a bump stomach.

The photo was later deleted, but a spokeswoman for Williams, Kelly Bush Novak, confirmed to sources, that she was indeed pregnant. “I’m happy to confirm that Serena is expecting a baby this fall,” Novak said in a statement. She added that Williams will not play again this year but was looking forward to doing so in 2018.

Williams, 35, has not played since winning her 23rd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open on Jan. 28, when she would have been close to two months pregnancy, if  caption on her deleted photo was accurate! Could be, Williams has perfect body, and fit to curry out. This year also Beyonce announced expecting twins, I guess it’s year of Babies.

Williams and Alexis Ohanian,  a businessman and a co-founder of Reddit, announced their engagement in late December last year, 2016.

Williams is the second leading women’s tennis player to announce a pregnancy in the last year, over Victoria Azarenka, a former No. 1 player and two-time Grand Slam champion, she announced her pregnancy in June, and gave birth to a son, Leo, in December. Azarenka, 27, might returning to competition in July after Wimbledon.

By winning in Australia, Williams broke her tie with Steffi Graf for the most Grand Slam singles titles in the Open era. She ranks behind only Margaret Court’s 24 on the career list. Court, an Australian, won the last three of those titles in 1973 after giving birth to a son, Danny, in 1972.

Others have returned to the circuit after motherhood and prospered, including Kim Clijsters, the Belgian star who won the United States Openin 2009 and 2010 and the Australian Open in 2011 after the birth of her daughter, Jada, in 2008. Clijsters retired in 2012 at 29.

Williams has played little outside the Grand Slam tournaments in the last 12 months — at the Italian Open in Rome and the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro last season and at the tournament in Auckland, New Zealand, in early January.
