As previously announced, the competition’s official draw will be carried out using a double-blind system involving eight pots. Pots 1-4 will contain the spheres with the names of the participating teams, and Pots 5-8 will contain Group A, B, C, and D spheres.
Based on the Concacaf Men’s National Team Rankings as of March 26, 2025, the 15 participating Concacaf teams will be split into Pots 1-4, with the current champions and the three highest-ranked teams in Pot 1 and the lowest-ranked in Pot 4. The guest nation, Saudi Arabia, will be placed in Pot 4.
Pot 1: Mexico, Canada, Panama, United States
Pot 2: Costa Rica, Jamaica, Honduras, Haiti
Pot 3: Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, El Salvador, Suriname
Pot 4: Guadeloupe, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia
Pot 5: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 6: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 7: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Pot 8: Group A, B, C, and D positions
Furthermore, in accordance with the regulations that will govern the draw, the teams in Pot 1 will be pre-seeded into a group based on the Concacaf Rankings as follows:
Group A: Mexico (current champion and highest-ranked team)
Group B: Canada (second highest-ranked team)
Group C: Panama (third highest-ranked team)
Group D: United States (fourth highest-ranked team)
The draw will begin by drawing the spheres of the pre-seeded teams (Pot 1) and their pre-assigned Groups (Pot 5). Once confirmed, the draw will continue by drawing the spheres from Pot 2 and determining each national team’s group with a sphere from Pot 6. The same process will be repeated for Pots 3 and 4, using the group spheres from Pots 7 and 8, respectively.
The draw will conclude once all teams have been assigned to a group.
