|New York (June 25, 2016) — Gay parade started in 1970 since then become an annual civil rights demonstration.
Over the years, its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to illness, violence and neglect.
Gay Pride in NYC is much more than just a parade. People come from all over the world to celebrate gay rights with tons of LGBT.
The Pride parade of NYC’s biggest gay party around the world. The Pride parade is stated to be a march, not a parade. The March celebration joined by over 350 unique marching contingents, representing a vast array of nonprofits, community organizations, corporate partners, small businesses, political candidates and activists! With over 80 floats making the trek down Fifth Avenue, last year’s March was one of the largest and most exciting in history.
