During his manager Harvey received a warning for plunking Chase Utlay, who paced the Phillies with two home runs and three RBIs. Lucas Duda’s 3-run double backs home victory, Phillies hit two batters; Harvey drilled Utley in the back in retaliation.
The Mets, won their third game in a row to improve to 5-3, will look for a sweep in Wednesday’s series finale. According to Mets media, they will almost certainly be playing without third baseman David Wright, who could be headed to the disabled list after straining his right hamstring in the eighth inning.
