Two players Chicago Fire for International Call-Ups 

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that midfielder Nicolas Hasler and forward Yura Movsisyan have been called in to their respective national teams for UEFA Nations League matches.

Hasler and Liechtenstein will travel to face FYR Macedonia at the Philip II Arena in Skopje, Macedonia on Oct. 13 at 1:35 p.m. CT. Three days later, Liechtenstein will travel to face Gibraltar at Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar on Oct. 16 at 1:35 p.m. CT.

Hasler made his senior national team debut for Liechtenstein on Aug. 11, 2010, and has since earned 53 caps. Hasler scored his first international goal against Bosnia-Herzegovina in a 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Oct. 11, 2013, and added his second in a friendly against Finland on June 7, 2017.

Movsisyan and Armenia will play host to Gibraltar on Oct. 13 at 10:50 a.m. CT, before taking on Macedonia on Oct. 16 at 10:50 a.m. CT. Both games will take place at Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, Armenia.

Movsiysan, 31, has earned 34 caps for Armenia since making his international debut in a 4-0 win over Andorra on Oct. 12, 2010. The striker has scored nine goals for his country since making his senior-team debut for Armenia, including a fifth-minute strike in a 2-2 draw against Italy in FIFA World Cup qualifying on Oct. 15, 2013.

Both Armenia and Liechtenstein compete in League D in the UEFA Nations League. All four matches will be available on ESPN+ and UnivisionDeportes.com.

Following this weekend’s international break, the Fire will travel to take on Atlanta United FC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. CT.

Rookie forward Elliot Collier took part in Indy Eleven’s match over the weekend, featuring for the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Bethlehem Steel FC on Oct. 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

Indy Eleven next travels to take on Louisville City FC in the regular season finale on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Louisville Slugger Field.

With a 13-10-10 record, Indy Eleven sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 49 points. The top eight teams in each conference qualify for the USL playoffs.
