Tyler Adams for USMNT vs. Brazil

The New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams started and played the full 90 minutes in the United States Men’s National Team’s 2-0 loss to Brazil.

Adams featured in the team’s 4-1-4-1 formation and had many strong runs throughout the match.

Roberto Firmino scored in the 11th minute for Brazil, while Neymar put away a penalty in the 43rd minute.

Adams’ deft touch and pass led to a string of cornerkicks for the US side in the first half.

He later put in a strong run which led to one of the USMNT’s main scoring chances in the second half.

Defender Tim Parker was on the gameday roster for the United States but did not enter the game, while defender Aaron Long was not on the 18-man roster for the match.

Adams, Parker and Long will look to see more minutes for the National Team on Tuesday, September 11 vs. Mexico, from Nashville, Tennessee.
