USMNT ceremonial lighting at ESB revealing Roasters for World Cup

New York  — USMNT via press releases that Head Coach Gregg Berhalter, United States Men’s National Soccer Team will visit the iconic Empire State Building for a ceremonial lighting ahead of revealing the U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup roster later tomorrow evening, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022.

The “World’s Most Famous Building” will shine its tower lights red, white and blue on Wednesday night to celebrate the USMNT competing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, which will be played from Nov. 20 – Dec. 18, 2022.

Berhalter will unveil the 26 players that will represent the United States at the World Cup in Qatar live on ESPN2 and ESPN+ during an exclusive roster reveal event at Brooklyn Steel in New York City later that evening. The event will be carried exclusively on ESPN2 and live streamed on ESPN+ beginning at 5 p.m. ET.

The U.S. Men’s National Team will open the World Cup against Wales on Nov. 21, face England on Friday, Nov. 25 and finish the group stage against Iran on Nov. 29. All three of the USA’s group stage games will kick off at 2 p.m. ET live on FOX and Telemundo.
