WESTCHESTER KNICKS to face DELAWARE BLUE COATS 

The Westchester Knicks (10-3), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, beat the Greensboro Swarm (4-7), 110-99, for their fifth straight victory Saturday evening at The Fieldhouse, December 1.  They get a second chance at Delaware tomorrow.

Billy Garrett and Isaiah Hicks scored 25 and 24 respective points. Hicks also grabbed 13 rebounds. New Orleans Pelicans Flex Assignee, Kenrich Williams, soared for a game-high 15 rebounds and contributed 11 points off the bench. Kadeem Allen pitched in a G League career-high 11 assists.

For the Swarm, Dwayne Bacon, JP Macura and Devonte Graham each ended with 17 points. Bacon added eight boards and Macura was the team’s assists leader with five.

The game endured seven ties and ten lead changes with competitive leads, Knicks by 12 and Swarm by eight. The Swarm shot 40-percent from deep but the Knicks managed a 51.6-percent shooting clip from the field. Westchester also benefited 21 points off of Greensboro’s 16 miscues.

On November 6, 2018, the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, had five in double-figures to help overcome a 16-point Delaware Blue Coats advantage for a 116-110 come-from-behind victory Tuesday evening at Westchester County Center.

Knicks’ returning player John Jenkins led the charge for the third consecutive time with 35 points, four more than previous output and five fewer than career-high. He shot 47.6-percent on the night and registered four rebounds, three dimes and had a perfect showing at the stripe (12-of-12).

Delaware finished with six in the double-digit point column led by Demetrius Jackson’s 24 points on 42.1-percent shooting. D.J. Hogg (18), Cameron Oliver (16), Cory Jefferson (11), Haywood Highsmith (10) and Shake Milton (10) also scored double-figures.

The Blue Coats’ owned the hosts by as many as 15 points in the first-half, 16 for the game. Oliver led Delaware with 10 points behind the first break, 57-44.

By the 9:20 mark, Westchester was able to get back within single-digits and despite double-digit leads by Delaware quickly after, the Knicks’ faced just a four-point whole prior to the fourth quarter’s start.

Four of the game’s five ties came in the fourth, with the final at the deadlock score of 106-106, at the 1:48 mark.
