New York City FC host Hispanic Heritage Night
|The New York City FC will host Hispanic Heritage Night presented by GOYA Foods on Saturday, September 8 at 5:00 p.m. when the team faces D.C. United at Yankee Stadium.
The match will feature a number of unique elements including:
- 100 tickets donated by GOYA for at-risk local children to attend the match.
- A national anthem performance by Hispanic recording artist and Queens native, Fina.
- Latin music performed by City Beats on River Avenue before and after the match.
- Two, one-of-a-kind Hispanic Heritage Night t-shirts will be sold exclusively at the team store located behind section 119.
- Special country flags at the free face painting station during pre-match for fans to choose from.
- Branded Hispanic Heritage Night GIF at the photo station located in the fan zone on the Masterpass Deck.
- GOYA’s Chef Fernando will be preparing a Latin-inspired recipe at Legends suite.
- Legends will be serving a special milkshake called the “Shakechata” – inspired by horchata, rimmed with puffed rice, topped with cinnamon, condensed milk and a slice of tres leches cake – by section 112. Tostones sliders will also be available on the Frank’s Red Hot Terrace.
- After the match, GOYA Maria cookies will be distributed to fans exiting Gate 8.
