Secretary-General meeting with H.E. Mr. Luís Montenegro, Prime Minister of the Portugal
United Nations, New York (Sept 25, 2024) —The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Luís Montenegro, Prime Minister of Portugal. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for the close cooperation between the United Nations and Portugal, particularly recognizing Portugal’s contribution to peacekeeping in the Central African Republic.
They discussed the Summit of the Future and the implementation of the Pact of the Future. They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.
