NY LIBERTY HOLD FAN EVENT AT WHITE PLAINS FARMERS
WHITE PLAINS, NY – May 22, 2018 – The Office of the Westchester County Executive George Latimer, City of White Plains and New York Liberty are teaming up for a free ticket giveaway and fan meet & greet at the White Plains Farmers Market on Wednesday, May 23 from 11-2 PM, celebrating the Liberty’s 2018 home opener at their new home – the Westchester County Center.
The event will feature White Plains Mayor Tom Roach, Liberty and WNBA legends Teresa Weatherspoon and Swin Cash and Liberty COO Keia Clarke; Maddie the Mascot will also be on hand for special meet & greet and photo opportunities.
Attendees will also be able to score free Liberty promotional items and participate in a trivia contest for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Liberty’s Friday home opener against the Minnesota Lynx!
The New York Liberty will debut at their new home, Westchester County Center, on Friday, May 25 at 7:30 PM against the defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx. All fans are invited to a pre-game Fanfest that afternoon, beginning at 5:30 PM in front of Westchester County Center.
