Nirvana – history band never dies
Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Despite releasing only three full-length studio albums in their seven-year career, Nirvana has come to be regarded as one of the most influential and important rock bands of the modern era.
Kurt Cobain and Nirvana made music history as one of the greatest music groups ever. Although his death at age 27 is listed as a suicide, many people have wondered if foul play was involved. Kurt arm revealing his medical bracelet from a drug rehab center in LA that he checked out of days before returning to Seattle, where the Seattle Police Department says, he committed suicide. The pop culture icon was found dead, it wasn’t that easy for many generations and up-today, he would be the 48 years-old. Cobain’s suicide note was on top of a planter in the greenhouse with a pen stuck through the center of the note, Seattle PD said.
The second album “Nevermind in 1991, Nirvana’s sudden success widely popularized alternative rock as a whole, and the band’s front man Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the “spokesman of a generation. Nirvana’s brief run ended following the death of the famous Kurt Cobain in 1994, but various posthumous releases have been issued since, overseen by Novoselic, Grohl, and Cobain’s widow Courtney Love.
Since its debut, the band has sold over 25 million records in the United States alone, and over 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time.
Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, in its first year of eligibility.
