Organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA), the massive cultural demonstration marched down Madison Avenue under the official theme “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah”—a traditional Sanskrit message translating to “May all be happy and free from suffering.”
The colorful procession kicked off at noon from East 38th Street, featuring over 40 intricate floats, traditional drum ensembles, and energetic live regional dance troupes representing India’s diverse states.
Indian cinema superstars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna served as the celebrity Grand Marshals, drawing thunderous applause from fans as they waved to the crowd from the lead float.
A historic highlight of this year’s parade was the inclusion of a spectacular Jagannath Rath Yatra, featuring a massive wooden chariot pulled by over 200 devotees down the center of Madison Avenue.

Following the march, attendees gathered on East 26th Street for a bustling open-air festival packed with authentic regional Indian street food, traditional clothing stalls, and local artisanal handicrafts.
Organizers called the historic event a profound success, stating that the immense turnout highlights the growing cultural and economic impact of the Indian-American diaspora on the global stage.
